Sunday- on Sunday morning we went to the beach. The beach we went on first was called port macee. We played on the rocks. We played in the sea and drew lines. We also built a wall and Euan helped Keira by supplying sand. We went across to another beach but went straight back more or less.  After lunch Keira and Euan went out. We were going to the beach. Helen and David met us there. Then we climbed over rocks to another beach and played about. Then we went back over the rocks to port macee and Keira and Euan finished the wall.

 

Monday- on Monday morning Keira and Euan went to the beach by their self. We made gooey sand and put it on rocks. After lunch we packed for our wild camp. At about five o’clock we left the house. We walked to near bay McNeil. When we got there we made the tent and  listened to wild stuff.     

 

Tuesday- On Tuesday we got up in the morning and packed the tent and sleeping bags away. After breakfast we walked home. Then Keira and Euan went to the beach and started digging a hole. After lunch David, Keira and Euan went to the beach. Euan and David finished the hole. Keira played in the water. Keira and David saw a seal. Then Keira dug a moat.   

 

Wednesday- On Wednesday we went over to Mull. When we got there we went to Ulva. To get over to Ulva you had to go on a little boat. When we got over to Ulva we went for a walk. There were deer hoof prints. We were going to Livingston’s cave. On the way we saw basalt columns and some buzzards. After we had been for our walk we went to Tobermory.    

 

Thursday- On Thursday we went to the beach. We went to portmacee. We decided we wanted to go to another beach because Euan wanted to collect shells. There were lots of shells. We were looking in a rock pool. We saw lots of hermit crabs. In the same pool we saw another crab. It was hard to see the crab because it was well camouflaged by being the colour of the sand.  

 

Friday- On Friday we went for a walk. We went up Meall Sanna. We could see into the volcano, far out to sea and the lighthouse. It was difficult to find the way down. You couldn’t see that things were a cliff until you got right up close. After we went for our walk we went to the beach. When we were there we jumped off rocks to see how far we could jump. You got points for   how far you could jump. Euan could jump the furthest. Then we did the long jump. Helen could jump the furthest.
